Boehner on Democrats: 'We're going to kick their ass!'

Chuck Schumer on Tuesday, caught unplugged, talking about the GOP:

?I always use the word extreme,? Mr. Schumer said. ?That is what the caucus instructed me to use this week.?

John Boehner earlier today, also caught unplugged, talking about the Democrats (as reported by Greg Sargent):

?If we stick together and keep the pressure on the Democrats, we?re going to win this fight,? Boehner told assembled Republicans, according to the source. ?We?re gonna kick their ass.?

Seems to me one of these guys validated what the other said. I'll leave it to the pundits to figure out which one was which.
