That's some of the feedback we've gotten from soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq who have received packages from the Netroots for the Troops campaign. This is the fourth year, and we're looking forward to shipping out hundreds---600 is the goal---of new packages from the Netroots Nation convention next month.

Recently Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chair Raul Grijalvva joined the NFTT Board of Directors, and he is nothing if not succinct about why this matters:

"It is important that we remind our soldiers stationed around the world that they are not forgotten, and that we deeply appreciate the sacrifices they make.?

This morning I'm setting a mini C&J goal for the day we should be able to hit without breaking a sweat: $1,000. I'll kick in the first twenty and if 49 more can float a Jackson, we can knock off early and hit the bars.
