Alaska Offshore Drilling oil production would exceed Lia and Nigeria http://bit.ly/yKdAOJ

Article by Mark

Could the drilling project on Alaska's Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) turn them into the 8th largest oil producer in the world? Could they pass Libya and Nigeria? According to Northern Economics (a consulting company) and University of Alaska-Anchorage's Institute of Social and Economic Research, that could be a very real possibility. A senior advisor on policy at the American Petroleum Institute claimed that this could mean a great deal to solving the US energy needs, and to stabilize the economy."America will need all forms of energy to get our economy back on track, and that includes oil - we can either produce it here and create more American jobs or import it and create jobs elsewhere," Richard Ranger said. "The administration and Congress need to adopt an 'all of the above' energy approach that leverages our offshore resources in Alaska to create an energy plan for America that boosts, rather than inhibits, our economy." How would major production like that that impact on the small EOR companies working to enhance or revitalize existing oil fields in numerous states? First of all, these companies are not competing with the oil giants. A spokesman for Team Resources Inc, currently at work in Kansas, says:"Team Resources does not compete with the Oil Giants. These companies "explore" and look for large reserves which costs quite a bit more than Team Resources would care to "risk". Their business objectives are much larger scale usually overseas. Team Resources has our own niche; we keep our overhead low and are focused in an area where the drilling and completing of wells are reasonable with oil reserves substantial enough to yield solid returns." How do the people managing the Team Resources ventures feel about the Alaska Project, especially now that President Obama has lifted the moratorium and has given the go-ahead to begin explorations and drilling?"Team Resources believes this is a step in the right direction as the President's prior decision to slow or halt new offshore drilling would have many negative impacts. These impacts are (but not limited to) the loss of oil/gas supply to the us, jobs  both directly related to drilling and gulf coast businesses which rely on this activity as well as taxes generated for the local and federal governments."  However, the spokesman for Team Resources does have some serious provisos for the massive undertaking:

"Team Resources does support drilling in Alaska and offshore. Team Resources Inc also believes that we should take special care when drilling in eco sensitive areas. Maybe some of the additional regulations which we expect to be imposed following the BP incident could help move this initiative closer to a reality."

A review of the BP oil spill in the Gulf http://bit.ly/

Article by Jeff Reed

The numbers are staggering. I was blown away when I first started to research this subject. The oil field was tapped into last September. Estimates say that it holds at least 3 billion barrels of, or six months' worth of U.S. consumption. The field is almost 6 miles beneath of ocean floor and that's on top of one mile of water.

The drilling rig cost $ 365 million and dug the deepest oil well ever. It is a floating marvel, the size of 2 football fields, hold a crew of 130 and cost more than a half million dollars a day to rent. Those kinds of numbers are just mind blowing to me. Today, this massive vessel is upside down one mile below the sea and 11 of the crew members have not been found and assumed to have perished. The latest estimate is that 3 millions gallons of crude have been released into the sea and it is bringing back memories if the Exxon Valdez disaster.

The oil is threatening the part of the Gulf that is some of the most profitable and productive for shrimping and fishing in the world. It provides a fourth of the seafood in the U.S. The oil spill has already affected several states and if not controlled soon it could affect more. It seems that the people of new Orleans have had enough. First Katrina a few years back and now this, I wonder how much more this city can handle.

One new thing that I have learned is that hair is being collected and used to help soak up the oil. Evidently after the Exxon spill a beautician discovered that hair could be used in the clean up. It's any and all kinds of hair, long hair, short hair curly hair, straight hair, people hair and animal hair. The hair is collected and stuffed into nylon stockings to soak up the oil. If you are interested in donating you can look up an organization called matter of trust.

BP Oil Spill Update http://bit.ly/xRYZm2

Article by Rob Ammons

Houston, Texas April 30, 2010: More than 42,000 gallons of oil have been leaking daily following a massive explosion on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico last week, with the potential to cause major economic and environmental damage.

The oil spill resulted from the explosion and sinking of the oil platform Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20th. Coast Guard officials estimate 5,000 barrels a day are leaking into the Gulf. The oil slick made landfall in southern Louisiana early Friday and is expected to reach Mississippi and Alabama within the coming days.

Experts are calling this the worst environmental crisis since the Exxon Valdez and are predicting the economic impact to be greater than that associated with hurricane Katrina. They estimate the massive oil spill has the potential to negatively affect the entire Gulf coastline. This includes a negative economic impact on thousands who earn their livelihood in the fishing industry, as well as tourism, itself a major industry along the scenic oceanfront. Additionally, the environmental impact is expected to be severe, with oil and byproducts damaging fragile marshlands, marine and bird life.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Gulf Coast," says oil spill attorney Rob Ammons. "Now is the time to make sure that the legal rights of people who live in that community are protected. Our oil rig spill lawyers are already aggressively investigating this incident, when we conclude our investigation and uncover who is responsible for this environmental disaster we will do everything in our power to make sure they are held accountable."

Based in Houston Texas, the attorneys of The Ammons Law Firm are committed exclusively to representing clients who have been injured or have died at the hands of someone's negligence. The Best Way to Seek Compensation from the BP http://bit.ly/woIntl

Article by Fin Dul

First of all it is important to settle hat exactly the role of the GCCF is. The GCCF is an organization which works under the supervision of the BP. The BP has taken up its responsibility for the major oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and it has appointed an organization to take care and supervise the claims processes that pour in their offices and which come from the victims of the spill. This organization is the GCCF- or the Gulf Coast Claims Facility. Unfortunately however, what the greatest majority of the victims were able to experience, were actually denied bp claims.

The GCCF reviewed the files, and there were 3 possibilities:- the files were completely denied- this is the case with files that contained incomplete documentation- the files were totally ignored- this is the case with files that got denied for no apparent reason. People sent in complete files containing all the documents, and then they woke up 3 months later that for this or that reason their file was ignored or blocked- individuals and businesses received underpayments. One of the main strategies of the gccf and implicitly of the bp was to offer a lump sum to the victim. Now several people were accepting this amount, even if it was accounting to less than 10% of what they are entitled to in reality. They did accept this amount out of fear of not getting any compensation at all.

And this is how the story of the bp claims is going on up to this day…The best thing you can do if you are in a similar position, and struggling with a denied bp claim, is to contact a trustworthy team of attorneys to help you. There are several respected organizations out there that focus on getting the best possible compensation for their clients.

Even in the case of bp claims denied, they can help you send your files for reevaluation. In case the GCCF denied the claims this time as well, or you are being offered a low compensation amount, the attorneys can file a lawsuit. All of these reasons are valid for getting your BP Claims Denied. As the BP Claims process has evolved so we will continue to evolve as needed with help of Attorney.Throughout the lawsuit they will represent you (their client) fully in front of the law. Once you try to obtain compensation from the BP with the help of reliable and expert attorneys, you have actually given yourself a better chance for obtaining the right compensation.

Super Power, Super Committee and the 'Whoops' Factor http://bit.ly/yMUBuH

Article by Rev. Michael Bresciani

America's lonely prophets and prognosticators are standing on the side saying we must stop sinning while her politicians are putting together super committees to show us how to stop spending. So far the only ones stuck with an embarrassing 'whoops' on their hands, are the politicians. Harold Camping may have gotten the date for the 'end of the world' wrong but Washington hasn't gotten anything right yet.

We don't always hear the 'whoops' but the picture of president, politician, attorney general and super committee standing with a dumbfounded look on their faces, and hands in the air, creates no strain for the imagination.

The President realizes that he can't keep using the Bush administration to cover his whoops but now he has the GOP controlled Congress to blame, so the re-election campaign is just like the 2008 bid, no need to own up to his own miserable failures. He has saddled up the unsuspecting with a 100 pound knapsack full of Obamacare and trillions in debt and has sent them off to the school of cultural change they really cannot believe in, with a kiss and a promise. Pep talks of future rewards notwithstanding, the little citizen students are bent and falling, just three years out of the gate.

Actual accomplishments in the present administration need not be culled because there are just too many 'good crisis' around to keep from going to waste. OWS, Solyndra, Fast and Furious are great crisis to work with and further distractions are provided by the fall of superheroes like those in Penn State. There are a lot of whoops out there and lots of ways to advantage a failing presidency.

For the BP disaster it was vacation time and other distractions that kept the president busy. The golf course is where he was found for other crisis and now he is chumming with NATO buddies in an effort to help them with their financial woes, even while America is about to have her credit rating whacked a second time and the military will have cuts so deep that defense may have to resort to name calling to thwart the enemies of the nation. Here is where we insert another very big, 'whoops.'

It would seem that all that is needed is a fresh new start with a conservative at the helm of the nation, but if the polls are any indication America isn't too sure about that either. Is it Romney, Cain, Perry, Bachmann or Gingrich, so far it is apparent, that no one knows for sure? It's like the weather, wait a while, it will change.

In the interim Hollywood keeps pumping out the slushy sleaze in attractive new colors and flavors and Mississippi misses its moment to mend the biggest wound America has had to endure in its entire history, abortion.

The gay agenda has taken great strides and leaped forward by just creating lots of PC fear and hate crimes bills designed to coddle and console their cadres of compliant. No one is crying whoops over this just yet, but there is a day, yet on the horizon. Hollywood and Washington are in the loop so why bring up what the living God has to say about it again. The biggest 'whoops' of all is just waiting in the wings.

Americans like me should simply shut up according to some, but until we are no longer accountable to God, that is an impossibility. In a spoof of an old familiar song I heard a singer belt out 'Home on the Range' with an altered verse. He sang, Home, home on the range, where the deer and the antelope play, Where seldom is heard a discouraging word, but what can an antelope say?

In a nation almost completely secularized and educated in everything Godless and amoral, I am considered less than the antelope but for some reason the words never run dry. Recently someone who thought I should shut up decided that by raising the question of demon influence in America's sinking moral climate, I was creating a dangerous precedent by attributing a diabolical nature to the sink-ees. He said that may create fear and even hatred. I assured him that no one sees devils at work much less believes they exist so what was there to worry about.

Those who think they are leading the nation into the next century are more likely to be leading us into the last disastrous decade, all the while demons are laughed off as something from the New Testament era, unscientific, unappreciated and unseen. The Bible on the other hand says that when demons are unleashed in the last days they are not sent to do parlor tricks for the secret covens or take up residence in lonely haunted houses and wait for new tenants to scare to death. So, to whom are they sent?

According to scripture the devils are sent not to the witches, warlocks, goblins and gremlins but they are transported directly to the leaders of our world, presidents, kings and dictators for the express purpose of gathering the rest of us to the great Battle of Armageddon.

"And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." (Rev 16: 13-15)

In the event you know nothing of Armageddon, it is a vast plains area 55 miles north of Jerusalem in which will be gathered the armies of every nation. They will be destroyed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ who will set up his kingdom in Jerusalem for a one thousand year period before eternity begins elsewhere.

It is a moment in time promised by the God who says he made both us and the ground we walk upon. No one will ever be forced to believe these claims but no one will miss the day of the big 'super whoops.' Leaders and kings will not be exempt from the great last whoops of human history but their dignity and prestige will count for nothing in that day. To wit:

"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Rev 6: 15-17)

Ten Essential SEO Content Writing Tips

Writing is as much as an art form as it is a skill, but that doesn't mean that you can't write content that is powerful and helps to improve your company's ranking with the major search engines. There are certain elements which can help your website content, blog posts, articles submitted to online directories and other online content increase your rankings and move your business forward. Here are ten things to look for:

1. Content Matters: No matter what you write, keep in mind that it has the potential to reach a large audience and be beneficial to your company beyond any SEO benefits. Blogs, articles and on-site content are a chance to link your company to useful, interesting information about your industry. Well-written copy about intriguing topics is also more likely to be linked and shared by outsiders -- increasing your page rank as well.

2. Write Compelling Headings: The titles of your articles and webpages are important -- they are among the first things that can grab the reader's attention. Instead of using a boring, generic heading, make sure that your heading is interesting while clearly explaining the content. Working a keyword into the heading is also a good idea.

3. Stay on Topic: It's easy to write around a topic and begin drifting into tangents that are unrelated to your topic. Keep in mind that this is business writing and not a personal blog! While it's OK to have some personality in your writing, your focus should always be on the topic you are writing about.

4. Ideal Keyword Length and Density: For website content and off-site articles for directory submission, content could be 300 to 1,000 words in length. The length of your article will largely be determined by the number of keywords you are using: you should use a keyword for every 50 to 100 words of content.

5. Don't Stack Keywords: Some people cram all of their articles' keywords into one section at the beginning of the article - often as part of a list. This looks unprofessional since all of your linked keywords will be running together on the page. Spread your keywords evenly throughout the article so they look more organic.

6. Add Keywords to the Bio: Whether you are writing a story for a magazine or submitting an article to an online directory, there will be an opportunity for you to add your biographical information. This is valuable real estate and another chance for optimization. Make sure that you include one keyword in your bio.

7. Write and Tag Hierarchically: Using the appropriate tags for your content will show Google and other search engines that it is professional and well-structured, leading to higher placements. Make sure you use the h1 tag for titles and the h2 tag for subheadings, etc. You should also apply this concept to your writing, putting the most compelling information up front.

8. Use META Descriptions: Making sure that your articles have META descriptions -- 150 character descriptions of the content -- that have keywords included. Including META descriptions is a great way to get Google to recognize your content and give it greater value.

9. Write Original Content: Search engines will punish sites that publish duplicate content that already exists online. Make sure that your content is fresh and original instead of just "copying and pasting" content from existing sources.

10. Choose Relevant Images: Having eye-catching images that are relevant to your content will grab the reader's attention. You can use Creative Commons search tools like the one found at to find intriguing images that are free to use without risking copyright infringement.

Google Caffeine Now Live

Google's new web indexing system According to a company blog post, Google built the new search indexing system over a year ago to keep up with the evolution of the Web and to meet rising user expectations. Caffeine offers 50 percent fresher results for web searches than Google's last index and boasts the largest collection of web content the company has ever offered.

In comparison to the old index, Caffeine allows Google to index web pages on a much larger scale, making it possible for users to find new pages or information faster than before. The old index, which was comprised of several layers, refreshed at a much slower rate than Caffeine because Google would have to analyze the entire web before a page could be made available to the searcher. With Caffeine, Google is able to analyze the web in small portions and update the search index on a regular basis.

According to the announcement, "Caffeine takes up nearly 100 million gigabytes of storage in one database and adds new information at a rate of hundreds of thousands of gigabytes per day."

What does this mean for searches and content owners? Vanessa Fox of Search Engine Land writes, "Caffeine is a revamp of Google's indexing infrastructure. It is not a change to Google's ranking algorithms."

Yahoo! Launches Facebook Features

As part of last year's partnership with Facebook, Yahoo! this month that will allow users of both networks to link their accounts and view and share updates. According to Yahoo!, people who use both Yahoo! and Facebook will now have access to the Facebook News Feed on the Yahoo! homepage, in Yahoo! Mail and other Yahoo! sites and services.

In addition, people who create and share information on Yahoo! sites (including Yahoo! News, Flickr and Yahoo! Movies) can now share content with friends on Facebook. "From news to sports to entertainment, Yahoo! sites provide ideal experiences to share with friends," said Ethan Beard, director of the Facebook Developer Network. "By integrating with Facebook on a global scale, Yahoo! is building upon an already valuable brand to give people easy ways to share the content they enjoy on Yahoo! with their friends on Facebook."

British Petroleum Buys Search Terms Relating to Oil Leak

While British Petroleum is currently battling a massive oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico from one of its exploratory drilling expeditions, it is also engaging in another damage control effort - one to protect its reputation. ABC News reports that BP has attempted to control the flow of negative publicity online by loosening its purse strings, as it has spent heavily to purchase top placements on search engines such as Google and Yahoo! for keyword phrases related to the environmental disaster.

For example, a person doing a search for the phrase "oil spill" on Google will receive thousands of links to news articles about the Gulf Coast crisis, but the first link returned is to BP's corporate page with highlighted text inviting people to "learn more about how BP is helping."

"We have bought search terms on search engines like Google to make it easier for people to find out more about our efforts in the Gulf and make it easier for people to find key links to information on filing claims, reporting oil on the beach and signing up to volunteer," BP spokesman Toby Odone told ABC News.

The move could backfire if people feel as though BP is attempting to manipulate the public by spending money on search engine results rather than on the clean-up. However, Kevin Ryan, the CEO of California-based Motivity Marketing, said that most people are unaware of the differences between organic search results and those that are the result of paid advertising.

Google to Roll Out Music Service Tied to Search Engine

Google is attempting to tie everything else to its industry-leading search engine, so why not music? The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Google will roll out a music download service later this year that is tied to its search engine, with an online subscription service coming in 2011.

Google declined to comment on the report, and it's unclear if Google has struck any deals with major record labels yet. However, the ubiquity of the Google search engine along with the rise in popularity of the Android mobile operating system means that record labels will likely want to listen when Google approaches them for partnerships.

In the past year, Google has already partnered with music content Web sites like iLike and Pandora, linking them through their search by letting users stream songs from the sites based on search results. Google's music service is the next logical step in this process, by eliminating the middleman and having Google deliver the music directly.

BP Oil Spill, Astrology analysis http://bit.ly/ylcdOx

Article by Gurmeet Singh

There has been no shortage of grief and tragedy linked to what may already be the greatest environmental catastrophe in US history. BP started the "top kill" operations to stop the flow of oil on May 26th, 2010, but the operation did not overcome the flow from the well. The spill could produce mass casualties and steep decline of wild life populations in the coming weeks, months and years. The situation in the Gulf is unprecedented for wildlife in terms of magnitude and numbers of species involved.

Astrologically I have seen over my 20 years of experience as an Astrologer in Indian Astrology / Vedic Astrology, if a good or bad event happens in a family, there will be a clear indication of that event in the astrology chart of the head of the household. If a Company or an Organization goes through a good or bad time financially, there will be a clear indication in the astrology chart of the CEO of that company. In a similar manner if a country goes through a good or bad time there will be clear indications of that good or bad time in the astrology chart of the President of the country. The day 9/11 happened I immediately opened the astrology chart of President Bush, and studied the planetary configuration at that particular moment. I found a very difficult and challenging time for President Bush. Now this greatest environmental catastrophe happened in the US history, and as an Astrologer I can see it coming from the President Obama's astrology chart.

According to Indian Astrology / Vedic Astrology President Obama is a Capricorn ascendant with ascendant at 21 degrees 56 minutes. The Lord of Ascendant, and 2nd house of speech

Antipoisoner International Awards Palin the BP Bloody Poisonous Award http://bit.ly/yFKt89

Article by Karen Fish

King Henry VIII wrote this about his second wife Anne Boleyn: "And the oil infected blood oozed out of her eyes and her ears and her mouth and her skin until all of her bodily fluids were gone forever and she shrivelled up into a witchlike rotten prune, and her ashes were scattered on the black sea." It seems that that mole really got to him.

Today, May 19, 2010, Antipoisoner International awarded the annual BP Bloody Poisonous Award to 2008 Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin. The ceremony is to be held July 4, 2010 in London, England. The award and the green jacket are to be awarded by last year's recipient Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The media spent two years covering the last Presidential election and coverage of the 2012 Presidential election began last night with the first of countless Super Tuesdays. In the 2008 vice presidential debate, here, http://bit.ly/yxhAoB Palin mocked Joe Biden for calling "environmentally friendly offshore drilling unsafe and raping the outer continental shelf." Sarah Palin said, "With new technology with tiny footprints (at sea) and even on land too (like the tar sands) it is safe to drill and we need to do more of that." "Tiny footprints; safe to drill." Thank God Katie Kouric warned us that this woman had never read a magazine. Casper the Friendly Ghostwriter penned "Going Rogue - Memoirs of a Flesh Eating Zombie."

Sarah Palin had to beat back some tough competition to win the Antipoisoner International http://bit.ly/AnDcJg 2010 BP Beyond Bloody Poisonous award, narrowly edging out 'Wayward Hayward', Tony Hayward, the CEO of BP and chief architect of the BP Oil Spill. Today Tony Hayward called the effect on the environment of the BP Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill "minimal." This is why Antipoisoner International has changed the word "environmentalist" to "antipoisoner" and their motto is, "Antipoisoners, Stop the Poisoners!" Nobody understands the word "environmental." When the U.S. beaches of the Gulf and the East Coast are covered in black gooey oil let BP claim that the poisoning of America has been minimal.

Myrtle Beach S.C. is on the Ocean at the intersection of 501 and N. King's Hwy. Today the town renamed itself Dead Turtle Beach. It's part of an ad campaign to lure children to see dead turtles and the Ocean Museum. Today BP revised their count to five barrels of oil per day. On the above video, Sarah Palin rallies the troops in Florida. Sarah Palin says, "Look at these sources of energy here in Florida that are still sitting untapped and we'll tap into them along with environmentally friendly (safe, non poisonous) offshore production. We do need to drill here and drill now. Now you can chant the 'Drill Baby Drill.' Yah!"

In December of 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Winner Al Gore gave an interview to Time Magazine in which he said, "When I was in the Snow and Ice Data Center receiving a full briefing on the polar ice caps, (the North Pole used to have ice), afterwards I would turn on my TV and there were two networks with the bulletin: 'Britney Spears loses custody of her children.' We're living in a madhouse if our priorities focus on the embalming of Anna Nicole Smith, or the trial of OJ Simpson, while we ignore the greatest crisis this nation has ever faced." Who but inmates of a madhouse or BP would pay Sarah Palin $ 100,000 to speak to them?

Insanity is when people are not aware of the nature and consequences of their actions. We came a hair from putting Sarah Palin in the White House. The oil companies must have been drooling spit like the inmates at Bellevue. Sarah Palin said, "The war in Iraq (to steal their oil) is God's Plan, and our soldiers in Iraq are on a task from God."

Actually God carved in stone Himself the 8th commandment, "Don't Steal." The 3rd commandment is "Do not take my name in vain." God also carved in stone the 6th commandment, "Don't Murder" each other and the pieces you are all made of, air, water and earth. God Himself carved in stone the covenant, the deal, in the 2nd commandment: God said, "If you break my commandments, I will punish you, your children, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren. If you love me and keep my commandments I will bless you and show you steadfast love to the thousandth generation."

A normal person would have learned from the Alaska Oil Spill of the Exxon Valdez. A normal non insane person would have learned from the BP Oil Spill underwater volcano of oil soon coming to a beach near you. Sarah Palin tweeted that her prayers are with the people of the Gulf. Sarah Palin worships the opposite of God's law, Satan's law. Sarah Palin claims to be pro life - does that include not murdering by posioning to death the water we are all made from?

Those who know the least know it the loudest. After her "Drill Baby Drill" campaign a normal person would dig a hole and hide in it forever. Now Sarah Palin is calling for more offshore drilling, in the Gulf of Mexico, on the Atlantic Coast, on the Pacific Coast, off the coast of Alaska and in the Arctic Ocean.

It is easy to blame Sarah Palin and BP and Tony Hayward and George Bush and Dick Cheney and Barack Obama for the poisoning to death of the world's air, water and earth. Let he without sin cast the first ballot. When we give up our cars and stop burning coal and oil then, and only then, can we scapegoat Sarah Palin and BP. Human beings lived in pristine conditions for 5 billion years until Karl Benz invented the car just over a hundred years ago. It seemed like a great idea at the time. Do you remember fish and drinking water not poisoned by acid rain? Yesterday offshore drilling was in vogue; you decide what tomorrow will bring. In the meantime go swimming in the ocean - it may be your last chance.

Why Invest in the Silver Coast of Portugal? http://bit.ly/y2mY79

Article by Frank Crowley

What is an average British investor looking for in an overseas property? The first thing that comes to mind is a good potential for regular income out of that property. Along with consistent income, an invest-able property should also serve as a second home to the 'tired' Brits who want a relaxed life - quite a distance from the crowd of big cities. And of course, affordability is another big consideration when it comes to investing in an overseas property. Undoubtedly, there are plenty of other factors influencing the decision of a British property investor, but these are the primary yardsticks for any kind of overseas property investment.

The property in the silver coast of Portugal straightaway comes to mind when we are talking of an invest-able overseas property. This is perhaps the only area that satisfies every criterion for a good property investment. You may not have heard too much about the place or the country. But rest assured! Silver Coast is a 'value for money' destination for every Brit investor.

Investment in the Silver Coast property, Portugal makes sense in more ways than one if you are looking to invest in a Portugal property. Here's a look at the prime indicators that'll surely convince you why you should invest in Silver Coast -

1. According to a PriceWaterhouseCoopers and A Place in the Sun report, Silver Coast of Portugal is ranked among top three regions that are most likely to give maximum return on investment during the next decade or so. 2. According to a report by the Strategic National Tourism Plan, the tourism receipts in Portugal will increase to 12 billion Euros by 2015 mainly driven by the surge in the popularity and growth of Silver Coast area.3. Silver Coast represents a vast unexplored region for tourism potential. The place has some magnificent beaches along with picturesque coastal landscape. The best part is that Silver Coast is not heavily populated and the beaches are generally uncrowded, which makes them unspoilt and an absolute pleasure to indulge in some relaxing aquatic activities. The net result is an inviting climate for tourists who are looking for some peaceful times away from the hectic city life most Brits are accustomed to. The influx of tourists translates into surging demand for holiday property, which in turn, ensures steady and handsome income while you are in your home country. The rental potential in the Silver Coast of Portugal is a sure turn on.4. There has been increased pressure on the housing sector, especially in the cities of Portugal, due to a big gulf between demand and supply. Resultantly, more and more people are looking for alternative destinations, like Silver Coast to get a decent home to live in. As a result, the recent years have seen rents multiplying two to three times. So, if you are looking for a consistent rental income, there is no better place than Silver Coast to put your money in.5. The British investors who are looking for a second-home investment destination can also look forward to investing their hard-earned pounds in alluring greens of Silver Coast. The place has unassuming charm that just never gets on your nerves. The relaxed rural backdrop amidst some of the breathtaking natural views offer a great chance for the Brits to lay their claim on the Silver Coast pie.6. The European Union (EU) plans to lend heavy aid in order to improve the Portuguese economy and infrastructure. As a result, there will be no dearth of money to further improve infrastructure and facilities in the Silver Coast region, which is already attracting tourists by the hordes primarily due to its rustic charm. Having said that, even in present times, Silver Coast boasts of some pretty good infrastructure, which includes good connectivity, modern education, decent transport, and other facilities required to live a relaxed and contented life. Consider this and your doubts about the place will be laid to rest. A new A8 motorway has cut journey time from Lisbon to the Silver Coast appreciably, thereby, connecting the picturesque towns of Caldas da Rainha and Turcifal, and the adjoining pretty villages, like Peniche.7. Silver Coast hosts several cultural events throughout the year for the connoisseurs of art, crafts, musicians, etc. the prominent ones include the Torres carnival, the Caldas da Rainha Ceramics and Fruit Fairs, the Bombarral Wine Festival, Peniches Festas da Nuestra Senhora da Boa Viagem, the Montejunto popular festival (Cadaval), and many others.

So, if you are looking for a low risk, established and safe investment environment, a Portugal property investment in Silver Coast is hard to beat.

Gas Flaring: Major Cause of Climate Change, BP Oil Spill Solution http://bit.ly/Aakwvi

Article by Brian Kahn

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill isn't a direct cause of climate change. However, one of the methods being used to deal with it is a large source of carbon emissions in developing countries that could easily be reduced.

BP recently inserted a pipe into the leaking well. In addition to oil, the pipe BP is sending gases such as methane and natural gas to the surface as well. Rather than capturing them along with the oil, they're being burned in a process called gas flaring. It represents a major global and local environmental problem.

Flaring is a wasteful process. Almost 5.5% of the world's natural gas production is wasted due to flaring. In financial terms, that's over $ 40 billion a year. That alone should be enough to make the companies responsible for the flaring reconsider the process.

It's also an incredibly harmful to the local and global environment and public health Locally, gas flaring produces a plethora of byproducts harmful to health. These include fine particulate matter and carbon monoxide. Particulate matter is particularly (no pun intended) problematic for people who have asthma or other respiratory problems. The chemical benzene is also released. Benzene is linked to leukemia and possibly cancer,

In addition, there are local environmental problems caused by gas flaring. Though the connection isn't definite, some evidences points to flaring causing the release of sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide which in turn cause acid rain. Flaring also produces black carbon, which will prevent vegetation from growing. Intense heat from the flaring site itself also limits vegetation. Of course, the biggest environmental problems come from the extraction of oil that is associated with flaring. The oil spill in the Gulf is a prime example of those impacts.

Globally, gas flaring is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions. Over 400 million tons of carbon dioxide are emitted annually. The carbon emissions from gas flaring fall right between the emissions of Belgium and the Czech Republic. Nigeria is the largest gas flaring country in the world behind Russia. It's carbon emissions from flaring alone are actually higher than the rest of sub-Saharan Africa combined.

Black carbon produced by flaring also has strong implications for climate change. It's considered an aerosol, though it doesn't act exactly like other ones. Aerosols generally have cooling properties by reflecting incoming sunlight, but black carbon is actually a short-lived but strong warming agent that can cause climate change. It contributes to warming in three ways.

For one, when black carbon is in the atmosphere, it absorbs sunlight rather than reflecting it like other aerosols. It also increases low-level clouds, which have further warming properties. Finally, when it leaves the atmosphere, it can land on snow. There, it also absorbs sunlight, thus warming the snow around it, sometimes weeks faster than clean snow. Melting snow reduces the Earth's reflectivity, known as albedo, which leads to still more warming. The Arctic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the Earth, in part because of black carbon.

Just how much is black carbon causing climate change? James Hansen of NASA has estimated that black carbon accounts for a quarter of observed warming. Because black carbon only sticks around for a few days, reducing black carbon emissions is one of the only ways in which we can immediately mitigate the effects of climate change. Reducing black carbon could provide immediate benefits for maintaining snowpack, sea ice, and permafrost, all of which could pass dangerous tipping points if we continue to pursue business as usual. It will also buy time while the slow process of reducing carbon emissions moves forward.

So gas flaring is bad for the local and global environment and the economy. And fixing it would provide immediate benefits to mitigate climate change. And the technology to eradicate the practice is there. So why does it happen?

The majority of it happens in remote areas or in countries that don't have the technical capacity to use natural gas for energy. It's also energy-intensive to separate natural gas from crude oil. There are a few initiatives operated by international entities including the World Bank and the UN to reduce gas flaring. However, technology isn't being adapted as fast as it could be in part because it's still more profitable to burn the gas rather than store and use it. In major gas flaring countries, ineffective and even obstructionist governments also hamper public opposition (though hopefully this is changing in Nigeria, whose government has set a deadline for December 2010 to end gas flaring).

The keys to reducing gas flaring are to hold corporations who use the process accountable for the damage they cause to the local and global environments and also facilitating technology transfers to the countries where gas flaring is a major problem. This means energy technologies that can burn natural gas and/or technologies that can reinject natural gas into the ground rather than flaring it. In the long term, we'll need to move towards energy sources that have zero carbon emissions. However, in the short term, finding ways to reduce gas flaring will provide tangible benefits that will hopefully inspire those longer term fixes.

Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill of 2010 - A Disaster Beyond Imagination! http://bit.ly/y0CPvt

Article by oilmbs

The Deepwater Horizon oil rig blew up on April 20th 2010 making the Gulf of Mexico inhabitable. This recent oil spill is the courtesy of BP who obviously unwilling to take the blame. Calling this an oil spill would definitely be a soft said word owing to the gallons of oil this exploded drilling platform belches out every day.

The safety equipment that includes a blowout preventer, which is nothing but a large pile of seafloor shut-off valves that apparently seemed to have failed. One of the reasons may be the fact that the BP well failed to have any remote-control or acoustically-activated backup blowout preventer switch, which could be used in case of an emergency that required a rig to be evacuated.

Although BP has claimed to pay to cleanup this colossal wreck in the Gulf of Mexico, the after effects of this oil spill are sure above human conclusions. The toxic components of the oil spill have already become a threat to the marine life, not to mention the loss of revenue as well. As feared if the oil manages to reach the beaches, tourism, especially Florida tourism stands the risk of losing billions of dollars from tourism.

Keeping in view the 1,300 miles of Alaska coastline in 1989, it would not be wrong to say that the oil washing onto land in Gulf of Mexico estuaries would not be easy to cleanup. Also the ill-effects associated the use of harmful dispersants used for oil spill containment tend to do more harm than good. Hence several environment contractors are promoting the use of an environmentally-friendly product called Oil Gone Easy S-200 for oil spill cleanup.

Even if in future the oil spill disaster contained miraculously at some point of time, it is certainly going to take a life time for the eco-system to cope with it and come back to its original form.

Card Game predicts The BP Oil Spill http://bit.ly/ypJjEw

Article by john s

I have seen some interesting things in my time. Some things good and somethings bad. But seriously this has to take the cake. Many other people including myself around the world are getting a funny feeling about this whole BP story. There is just something on the tip of this that doesn't sit right. Maybe it is from an overdose of coffee or a lack of sleep, you be the judge but I am sure that there is more to this than saga than just some overpaid idiot worker at BP saying "ahhhh Oppsss, I think we got a leak at pipe Seven sir!!"

Yes I think you know what I mean. I am not only thinking of the damage already caused but how many other pictures we are not seeing of birds (in pic above) and other animals that will be totally wiped out becuase of this mess. Also the fact that the wild weather that always hits this region of the US is only going to make things worse if a cap fix is not sorted out very soon. What a horrible situation. SOS....

With that being the said, here is something one or our readers found. It is picture of an old board game / card game produced many years ago, where there is an image of bird in trouble, an OIL TANKER in the background sinking and oil everywhere. Hinting on the fact there is a very big oil spill. This is just one of the cards contained in a game where other cards in the deck seem to suggest links to other major events that have happend. For me to see this, it was not only spooky but sort of makes me want to get out the shovel and dig a little deeper to the meaning of all this.

Someone needs to take blame for this, there are just lots of scapegoats and finger pointing at the moment. I sure from today, there will not be a cap fix found anytime soon. And no doubt that could mean several more failed attempts.

This is a huge world disaster and many people will feel the effects for years to come. If BP are caught and found guilty of hindering other methods that could actually stop this spill, how well do you think this will go down with the good ole moms and dads out there. Interesting times ey?

And for all you munchkins that missed our latest show here it is posted below. And yes you guessed it, we cover this whole BP story since it keeps getting blasted at us morning, noon and night so it seems. So hopefully our video doesnt put you to sleep. Click the play button below and Enjoy.

The BP Oil Leak Accident and What We Can Learn From It http://bit.ly/yXEfuC

Article by Abel Mens

No sooner than the Gulf of Mexico oil spill took place, British Petroleum (BP) took initiatives to follow a "Top Kill" policy and seal the leak on the pipeline by putting down quite a lot of concrete or cement over the leakages. What I did not appreciate was that how did they manage to let it happen in the first place? It was quite heart wrenching to know that more than five workers had been dead already. I think the best way to stop these saddening events from taking place is by being pro-active rather than re-active.

One might question how is it possible for corporations like BP to oversee these unforeseeable disasters and respond. The fact is, after the 1990's, new fields in management have cropped up that places Contingency Plans, Disaster Management Teams and Worst-case Scenario analysis at the focal point. Even in the field of Finance, now we have FRM (Financial Risk Management). What I have in my mind here is that most probably BP had a Risk Management Team beforehand that calculated the probability of this even happening. If the Risk Managers of BP didn't even consider the probability of a leakage occurring in the pipeline (it's quite a possibility, wouldn't you agree?!), then I guess it is time for us to be upset about the management expertise of BP's managers. I would say it would not hurt for the court to have a look at BP's management team and check the documents to find out how did they plan to pay for the compensations, in case the anomalous event took place.

Another thing that has caught my eyes is how BP is now trying to lengthen the whole process of paying compensations and refusing to pay out of its Free Cash Flow. Instead, BP is thinking of issuing new Corporate Bonds or to rely on banks to make a funding of $ 5 Billion to cover up the damage costs.

I guess, without the intervention and support from international non-governmental organizations that work to protect marine life as well as the U.S government, BP would find out excuses to haggle with the compensation amount per head. Notwithstanding the amount of tirade that newspapers or online posters direct at BP, we must keep in mind that BP is a business organization nevertheless. Moreover, unless BP's vision has nothing about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in it, they would not be much motivated to spend money to sooth angry and sad general people.

U.S witnesses major oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico http://bit.ly/w41kl9

Article by Robert Eckard

Unless you have made a conscious effort to cut yourself off from any and all media outlets, you are no doubt familiar with a major oil leak from the Deepwater Horizon well in the Gulf of Mexico off the southern coast of the United States. An oil well located in the gulf has blown out and oil is spewing from it to the tune of 35,000 to 60,000 barrels per day. Skimmers have been sent to the site of the Gulf oil spill and are capturing around 10,000 barrels per day. Even those who have chosen professions outside the world of mathematics can do the simple math and see that the cleanup is currently a losing battle.

Possibly the most infuriating aspect of the Gulf oil spill is that it is almost identical in nature to the spill caused by an oil rig explosion back in 1979, and the exact same efforts that didn't work over 30 years ago to stop the flow of oil are being employed now! Every method from dropping chemicals on the spill from the air to attempting a rather low-tech plug with a large metal cap are even being performed in the same exact order with the same exact failed results. How does it make any sense that no strides have been made in preemptive or corrective technology in the past 30 years? An even bigger question is why have we as a planet continued to cling to petroleum-based fuel sources instead of developing renewable energy sources that would prevent such disasters as the Gulf oil spill from happening?

When proposing the Deepwater Horizon well, BP stated confidently that even if an unlikely spill occurred, the microbes found in the water would quickly degrade the oil and currents would disperse the remaining oil constituents to ineffective levels. The mechanisms behind these claims are true. But what happens when microbes begin to break down the oil, or any type of material they use for food? They use up oxygen. The enormous amount of oxygen consumed by the microbes while processing the large amount of oil spilled in the Gulf of Mexico would adversely affect the fish and sea life living in its waters. If these animals die off as a result, the food chain would suffer a major blow. Additionally, the natural gas released alongside the oil reduces oxygen levels and carries toxic materials such as Benzene, creating a double hit to the waters and animals found in the Gulf of Mexico.

The engineers at BP were indeed correct in their assessment that currents in the Gulf of Mexico would carry the oil after a spill. Unfortunately, the prevailing current in these waters is the Gulf Stream. As the Gulf Stream flows out of the gulf, it travels up the Unites States' eastern seaboard. Even if the oil spill does not reach shore, unforeseen amounts of sea plants and animals would be affected. Once the Gulf Stream has continued past the US's east coast, it then issues out into the Atlantic Ocean toward Europe. I'm not ready to call this disaster a planet killer yet, but it is not hard to imagine the global effects both economically and environmentally if the Gulf oil spill reaches beyond its already sizeable boundaries.

Fishing industries have already felt the heavy blow brought on by the Gulf oil spill. 86, 985 square miles of available waters have been closed off, which is approximately 36% of federal waters. Although around 60 to 70 percent of oyster and crab harvesting areas as well as 70 to 80 percent of fin-fisheries have continued operation, early estimates have predicted cost estimates of $ 2.5 billion dollars to the fish industry. Tourism, a large portion of the area's economy has slowed greatly, potentially costing the industry $ 3 billion.

Lest we forget, BP themselves are losing money hand over fist because of the Gulf oil spill. As of a few days before this writing, BP had already incurred expenditures of $ 2.35 billion. When all is said and done, costs caused by everything from re-drilling to containment to cleanup to claims may reach over $ 30 billion dollars. Since April, BP has already lost $ 105 billion. Who inevitably foots the bill whenever large corporations lose stock value and profits? Why, the customer of course. Customers worldwide are already cringing at the thought of gallons of gasoline that are triple or quadruple the current price.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Health concerns and litigious matters have yet to play out, so the impact felt in these areas is yet to be seen. Renewable energies rely on sources that are readily available, not those that need to be mined from 5,000 feet below the ocean's surface. The research, development, and installation costs of all renewable energies combined have not exceeded the costs inflicted by the Gulf oil spill. And neither the quiet hum of a fuel cell nor the softly spinning blades of a wind turbine have ever roared louder than the effects currently being heard in the Gulf of Mexico.

Unsurprising News: Obamacare, the Groper, and the Gulf http://bit.ly/zbrmxC

Article by Gene Lalor

With apologies to the Bard, some news is born worthy of being news, some becomes newsworthy as a result of misinterpretation, and some achieves newsworthiness due to wildly-inflated, distorted exaggerations.

Obamacare: Anyone who believed the Democrat-Obamian sales pitch on Obamacare has to have been an Obama-enamored African-American, a disturbed Democrat with a government sinecure, a chronic user of illicit, mind-altering drugs, or all of the above.

All the horrors of Obama's signature legislation that its opponents warned about are either coming to pass or are in process, from rationing to death panels to higher costs to the dreaded "public option." The truth about Obamacare will include both intended consequences, which Obamians will deny, and unintended consequences they will declare total surprises, even shocks.

As one observer wrote, "Higher costs, longer wait times, inferior care-essentially every nightmare scenario envisioned by Obamacare critics is coming true" and, by design, Obama will be out of office or a lame duck when the major horrors kick in in 2014: http://bit.ly/x5FCDh

One of the consequences already apparent is that insurers are refusing to issue any new individual healthcare policies to children. The reason? The inclusion of a provision in the voluminous but carelessly constructed Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act of 2010.

After September 23rd, "Parents can wait until their children get sick to sign them up for individual plans at any time. Insurers can't predict the cost of sudden additions to plans for those making immediate use of the system, and so instead just won't make those kinds of plans available:" http://bit.ly/wojV9W

It's the equivalent of the government allowing you to buy an auto collision policy after you rack up your car. Why would insurers buy into that?

Perhaps the biggest Obamacare lie was that it would give kids better health care. Now it turns out that many kids will not only not get better health care, they will get no health care.

The Groper: Big Al Gore, former VP and bitter loser to GWB for the presidency, winner of a Nobel Prize as richly undeserved as Obama's, billionaire profiteer from the farce of global warming, and accused groper/molestor/perv, has had the Portland masseuse's charges dismissed due to insufficient evidence, as per a decision by the Portland D.A.'s Office.

That office is headed up by liberal District Attorney Michael D. Schrunk.

Molly Haggerty, a 54 year old Portland, Oregon licensed massage therapist had claimed the world's pre-eminent environmentalist acted like a "crazed sex poodle" who groped her and attempted to take advantage of her when they were alone in Gore's hotel room late one night in 2006: http://bit.ly/yNrLgg

The case was far from airtight but it would seem there was more than enough evidence to at least issue an indictment considering the Portland authorities chose to personally interview Gore who, obviously, denied everything. That would make the matter a he said/she said situation which a jury should have decided.

However, without impugning the Portland police since the decision to cut Gore loose came down not from the police but from the more political office of the D.A., any proof could not overcome the identity and influence of the alleged molestor

The good news is that the Goreacle is far from off the hook. He still could be the subject of a civil action.

Also, suggesting Gore is a serial massage-therapist-groper, two other allegedly Gore-groped therapists have come forward with similar tales about the sex-crazed poodle. Those incidents occurred in Beverly Hills in 2007 and in Tokyo, 2008.

Let's hope they have more concrete evidence to offer than the Portland lady.

The Gulf: When gubmint types or weathermen predict catastrophe, we can usually be sure they're misinformed, disinformed, or practicing CYA, covering their posteriors with their reports.

Weathermen-excuse me, meteorologists-may be the worst of the lot. Those guys and gals are wrong 50% of the time on tomorrow's weather yet have the temerity to predict the weather a week in advance. By that time, everyone has forgotten their prediction, which changes daily anyway, and people have forgotten how wrong they were.

Their most entertaining weather predictions are hurricane forecasts with which they can't go wrong. If they're mistaken when they predict a dozen level 3's will devastate the Gulf or East Coasts, they revel in our luck. If they're right, which they rarely are, they can always insinuate they told us so.

Weathermen/meteorologists and politicos of every stripe jumped in almost immediately after BP's Deepwater Horizons oil rig exploded on April 20th and issued dire predictions on that catastrophic event which they said could totally decimate the Gulf region for decades, if not for eternity.

Obama's first act after April 20th was to dispatch government lawyers to the region. Then, when he emerged from his weeks-long detached daze, he called the BP oil spill "the worst environmental disaster America has ever faced." Never wanting to waste a good crisis, he then used that disaster to push his energy bill and instituted a deep water drilling moratorium that promised to be far more financially disastrous to Gulf area denizens than the oil spill.

Functioning and thinking as liberals who love to focus on the negative, all involved overlooked or disregarded Mother Nature's capacity to deal with and compensate for pollution as it has for millennia. Mother cleans itself better than her children can possibly do with booms, brooms, shovels, and nets and she dispatched her voracious microorganisms to gobble up the oil.

The spill's effect on shell fish has been non-existent, even if bans on shell fishing have been crippling. Oily sea birds got a lot of face time on national tv but relatively few compared to the Prince Edward Sound spill were adversely affected. Marsh lands and estuaries have seen minimal damage from encroaching oil slicks and the Gulf of Mexico is well on its way to complete recovery.

All of the above news wouldn't be so surprising if the public shared a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to government actions, the latent power of the powers-that-be, and political-environmental hyperbole.

Best Way To Create Interest Inside A Room By Using A Landscape Oil Painting http://bit.ly/xAuSCL

Article by Elijah James

Any well decorated room must incorporate some great pieces in order for it to respond to the needs of the beholder. The end result must be appealing and have a great color scheme, but this can sometimes be challenging. One needs a certain inspiration to build on or decorate around, like a beautiful landscape oil painting.

To begin with, oil paintings instantaneously bring value, warmth, and richness into a room because they are all unique pieces. They bring charm and old world elegance to stir feelings within those whom observe them. Their textures give off a sense of stability, unlike the transparency of watercolor paintings. An oil painting depicting a landscape has the ability to be used in various rooms, creating a different mood, regardless of the rest of the furnishings or decor, simply from the object of the study. A consumer can choose a scene that depicts nature in wintertime, just as he or she can choose a cityscape. These are two very different examples where one focuses on geometric shapes and the other one on the serene rounded shapes of nature, instead. Using one or the other in the room could create a very different feel.

Some people claim that it is similar to opening another window in the room. It is quite easy for the mind to connect it to the outdoors. Therefore, it may be a great solution to decorating a room that has limited natural light flowing into it. It is safe to say that landscape oil paintings can also enlarge a room, as well as add visual balance to one that may have too many windows on one side, thereby helping to established equilibrium.

However, when decorating a room and using landscape artwork, size is a very important factor that must be carefully considered. Although there is no right size, an overly large one will instantaneously grasp the attention of the onlooker, easily creating a feeling of space. Grouping together smaller landscapes can help to create a theme for the given room, and still be able to pack a punch. In truth, the size of the landscape oil painting is completely personal, but it should be in keeping with the wall chosen to mount it on, so that it does not get lost on it.

What a consumer should be looking for when choosing a landscape oil painting is that it speaks to him or her. There are so many pieces to choose from, either in local galleries, specialty stores, or online, making it easy to find the perfect one. It is the key to designing a tasteful room. Although some that may attract you may be too costly for your budget, you can always opt for oil painting reproductions, which can be purchased at more affordable prices.

Mass in Joint Ventures - Tips on using joint venture partnerships to claim a common goal. http://bit.ly/zbskhs

Article by Rivers Corbett

Ideas—or advocacies—are hard to push alone unless the person has formidable resources and influence. A critical mass or group must be behind them.

Al Gore did a remarkable solo revolution for the global warming, but the critical mass that he inspired caused the exponential spread of his advocacy. The US Climate Action Partnership, a joint venture of private firms like BP America, General Electric, Lehman Brothers, Caterpillar and WalMart, advocated to the government to act on climate change and impose regulations on industrial carbon dioxide.

Though US government still does not have concrete actions on their advocacies, green business is slowly staging up. WalMart, in fact, is reducing packaging, waste and energy use. More green banks lend money for environment-friendly businesses. General Electric designed and implemented Ecomagination program. DuPont stopped producing chlorofluorocarbons and focused on starch-made Sorona polymer. Hummer is also stopping its productions of fuel-consuming big cars.

Clinton Global Initiatives, for one, a special project of Former US President Bill Clinton, forges joint ventures to fight against diseases, environment and poverty. As it continued to rally its interests, it drew Al Gore, Bono, Bill Gates, politicians, celebrities, academes, scientists and others. Soon, the initiative is gaining more support and funds.

In Iceland, President Olafur Grimsson is also on a joint venture with Columbia University, University of Iceland, University of Toulouse and Reykjavik Energy scientists to reduce carbon dioxide by capturing and injecting them into basalt. The carbon dioxide will form a mineral and stay in the rock for million years. The process is carbon sequestration. Such joint venture converted Iceland from coal to clean and renewable geothermal resources. It also pioneered studies in soil carbon sequestration and hydrogen-powered transmission.

The trend indicated that joint venture or collective action is indeed working and still the best way.

Oil Spill Textile Absorbent http://bit.ly/

Article by dianneCooper

The US is confronted with still another environmental tragedy after Katrina and appears to be more fatal as the late. But the class of the new cataclysm is not a natural but merely human indulged erroneously or irresponsibleness. Straightaway the musket ball of inculpation is being tossed between the administration's inertia (or the want of it) and BP's inactivity or their want in preparation in undertaking such a disaster. While BP interpreted by their executives in corporate uniforms can not find fault the authorities for love or money, they come about the duty to the third party in which they have exploited to build the pipes in the Golfo de Mexico.

But then, the Brits are parted with President Obama's "angry" comments with necrosises against the BP course with close association with what the "BP" stomaches therefore bringing some Brits to promulgate nasty over the Chair's remarks. The media has even flooded over Obama's perceived populace squalid blah which should not be picked up from a loss leader. But as speedy as a fox the Prexy's tending and friends mediated and pull in the "out of circumstance" excuses. All these things that fell out have one ground that is stock still pulled up stakes unresolved up to now -- the BP oil color fall.

CNN has alive telecasting welling out of the tumble in their site and from that one can easy tell how much of oil is being spewed out bent on the ocean and handing to the beaches of the area affecting the animate being's benefit and the environs' as a unit. There had been many proposition took bent lick the crisis but solely those that, granting to some scientists, BP executives desire to utilize prevail. In Texas and Georgia, there are two groupings severally that uttered willingness in aiding resolve the current trouble in the Gulf Coast. They are fabric makers who rather of intellection of how efficaciously create workwear uniforms and other wearing apparels have laid down their causal agency to help lick the crisis.

The Texas Tech University investigators verbalized that they have only the correct tool to sop up and fall the aromatic impression of the tumble in the Gulf of Mexico. The told tool was really a groundbreaking cloth that is created of cotton plant absorptive lineament that can sip "toxic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon vaporizations." The research worker called this a Fibertect. This design was really made for the military role chemical substance and biological attack arm shell.

Another radical from Norcross, Georgia modernized another cloth that is held to too soak up the vegetable oil that pours forth out of BP's organ pipes. Dynamic Absorbents, Inca was the company who claimed to have manufactured a solution. The secret with the DAI's solution lies in the main in the content of cotton plant to engage oil color and with applied science the company has created an especial chemical substance additive to cotton plant so it may get more effective. They have fused cotton plant with alumina.

These two conceptions are genuinely awesome and course helpful to our environs. But look how large the fall has gone through for several calendar months already, it would take a documentation of all material manufacturing businesses in order to successfully do away with oil out of the ocean -- a exploit that is potential but is merely would take a age.

The False Promises of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility http://bit.ly/wBcyWh

Article by Fin Dul

The gulf coast claims facility is a regulating body whose primarily job would have been to make sure that all the victims of the oil spill disaster would get rightful compensation. However, all the gccf seems to be doing is constantly looking for the needle in the haystack to deny, ignore or block the Claims. They are not interested if you owned a business which was fully shut down as a direct result of the oil spill. Now you have to move on, open your business elsewhere and you could definitely use the money from the compensation to do that. Your family has lost it's primarily means of income, but the GCCF is just simply not interested in that…

At the beginning, there was a huge media frenzy going with the publicity of the best regulatory body which is the GCCF. This organization runs under the supervision of the BP, and since the BP has taken full responsibility for the damages it caused, people trusted they will keep their word. The gulf coast claims facility seemed to be the easiest way to access your compensation funds quickly and easily. It also seemed as the number one organization that would also offer you assistance and advice as to how, when and how much compensation to seek. This was done on purpose, so that you wouldn't even think of hiring a lawyer and go against the "rules" of the GCCF.

Sadly, hundreds of individuals and businesses are still waiting for some sort of compensation, even today when almost 2 years have passed since the tragedy. It is definitely time to change your tactics, and go aggressively after that compensation. The best way to file the gccf claims is to allow a trustworthy team of attorneys to help. They will make sure that your file is complete with all the important documents, and if needed they will file a lawsuit against the gccf. The lawsuit is primarily an option if:- the claim is denied once more- the client receives underpayment proposals- the claim gets rejected or blocked

Forget about going for the gccf directly, especially if you want to have access to a fair compensation process. The GCCF knows that having to deal with an entire team of aggressive attorneys will not do them or the BP any good…So you should choose the best way to get fair compensation today!

Louisiana Restaurateurs Lawsuit Against BP May Reach Class Status http://bit.ly/s5PyJA

Article by georgebizpro

A lawsuit brought on by ten Louisiana restaurants and one distributor against BP over the Deepwater Horizon accident may reach class action status. The plaintiffs' Louisiana Maritime Attorney is seeking class action for all restaurant operators and seafood distributors that are located in counties or parishes that touch on or border the Gulf of Mexico in the states of Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Texas.

Despite an announcement by BP that it was awarding tourism promotion grants of $ 15 to $ 25 million to the governors of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi (excluding Texas), restaurant industry professionals in these parts feel that these grants will not offset the increase in operating costs they will face as a result of this catastrophe. The Transocean oil spill has reduced production and available the population of fish and shellfish in the area, causing prices to rise.

The plaintiffs also fear that even with the increased awareness the grants may bring, tourism in the coastal part of their states will be severely affected. They are not alone in this assumption; in fact over 20 lawsuits against BP have been filed in Alabama, with countless others being filed in the aforementioned states.

The restaurants and distributor seeking class status through their Louisiana Maritime Attorney are looking to make claims under the federal Oil Pollution Act. This act mandates that oil companies have "plans to prevent spills that may occur" and detailed containment and cleanup contingency plans if a spill does occur. Their Louisiana Maritime Attorney is contending that BP was negligent in carrying out these mandates.

While it remains to be seen if class action status is reached on these lawsuits against BP, what is clear is that thousands of individuals and businesses have been affected by BP and Transocean's joint failure of responsibility in causing and failing to contain the Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill. If you are seeking damages against BP or Transocean, it is wise to seek advice from an experienced Louisiana Maritime Attorney to consult with about your best course of action.

Special Fabrics: Solution to the Oil Spill http://bit.ly/tWBEJg

Article by Penelope Rock

America is experiencing another environmental calamity after Katrina and it seems to be more catastrophic as the latter. But the route of the new disaster is not usual but merely human indulged errors or giddiness. Now the blame is being tossed between the government's inactivity (and the lack of it) and BP's inaction or their insufficiency in training in tackling such a disaster. While BP represented by their executives in corporate uniforms cannot hold responsible the government for anything, they pass the blame to the third party in which they have tapped to build the pipes in the Gulf of Mexico.

However, the Brits are divided with President Obama's "angry" remarks with mortifications against the BP of course with close association with what the "BP" stands thus bringing some Brits to exclaim foul over the President's remarks. The media has even flooded over Obama's perceived public sordid rant which should not be heard from a leader. But as quick as a fox the President's aid and allies mediated and pull in the "out of context" alibi. All these things that happened have one reason that is still left unsolved until now - the BP oil spill.

CNN has live video streaming of the spill in their website and from that one can easily tell how much of oil is being spewed out to the sea and reaching to the beaches of the country affecting the animal's welfare and the environment's as a whole. There had been many suggestion brought out to solve the crisis but only those that, according to some scientists, BP executives want to use prevail. In Texas and Georgia, there are two groups respectively that expressed willingness in helping solve the current problem in the Gulf coast. They are textile manufacturers who instead of thinking of how effectively make workwear uniforms and other apparels have laid down their cause to help solve the disaster.

The Texas Tech University researchers expressed that they have just the right instrument to absorb and lessen the aromatic effect of the spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The said device was actually an innovative textile that is made of cotton absorbent feature that can sip "toxic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon vapors." The researcher called this a Fibertect. This invention was actually made for the military use chemical and biological warfare weapon shield.

Another group from Norcross, Georgia developed another textile that is deemed to also absorb the oil that spilt out of BP's pipes. Dynamic Absorbents, Inc. was the company who claimed to have invented a solution. The secret with the DAI's solution lies mainly in the capacity of cotton to absorb oil and with technology the company has made a particular chemical additive to cotton so it may become more effective. They have combined cotton with alumina.

These two discoveries are really awe-inspiring and of course helpful to our environment. But looking at how big the spill has gone through for several months already, it would take a corroboration of all textile manufacturers in order to successfully eliminate oil out of the sea - an exploit that is possible but is simply would take a long duration of time.

BP Oil Spill, Are You Kidding Me? Put a Plug in It Already! http://bit.ly/uEgRim

Article by Thomas Palmieri

BP's oil spill in the Gulf is out of control, and after viewing the new digital CNN video of the recently cut well cap, it's obvious to a plumber, and most blue collar tradesmen, their engineers are also miserably incapable of even slowing the oil spilling from the well, let alone stop the flow.

I saw the CNN digital video on Anderson Cooper 360, and all I can say is this:

"Look BP: Ever hear of a thing called a plumbers test ball?!!!!"

Plumbers use the test ball to insert into a drainage pipe and then use air to inflate it and put a clog the pipe"

It's hard to believe BP is letting the oil spill out of the well head in the Gulf, while our government officials peer over their shoulder, and no one thought of such a simple device as a plumbers test ball that could be fabricated to size, inserted into the well head, then inflated with sea water.

This simple device, at the very least, would reduce the amount of oil flow, if not stop it all together.

And they could do this in a couple of days.

The Test Balls would be under 2,500 bucks a piece.

Sea water is Free.

So BP, do you really want to stop the oil spill BP?

Here, I'll lay it out for you how simple this is.

1- Fabricate 5 Test Balls sized to the well head pipe

2- Insert 1st Test Ball as low in the pipe as you can get it

3- Fill with sea water to inflate against well head walls

4- Install 2nd Test Ball

5- Fill with sea water to inflate against well head walls

6- Insert 3rd Test Ball as low in the pipe as you can get it

7- Fill with sea water to inflate against well head walls

Now, oil pressure will be greatly reduced, if not completely stopped.

To ensure the oil spill won't re-occur, follow the last 2 steps below:

8- Insert new 6" steel hose into well head to pump concrete from surface ship.

9 -Pour 5,000 psi concrete mix to cap above test balls.

Done.

Oil Spill stopped.

Oh, I almost forgot...

You'll have two balls left...

Keep them...

You'll need 'em in court.

Please pass this to anyone who will listen and cares about the Gulf oil spill.

Get the word out, the oil spill in the Gulf is spewing thousands of gallons of oil a day and must stop now, and this simple plumbing device, the test ball, will work, guaranteed.

BP, Stop the Oil Spill Now!

Singapore Oil Spill - BP, It's Time to Learn From it. http://bit.ly/sMuivJ

Article by oilmbs

As the whole world is busy thinking of a solution to the Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster, here comes the Singapore oil spill. Though not as disastrous as the Gulf Oil spill, it has equally raised concerns regarding our take on the bendable rules and regulations. The collision of an oil tanker and the bulk carrier in the deep waters between Singapore and Malaysia has raised questions about the oil transportation norms. In Singapore oil spill, the sea has been polluted with almost 5000 tons of crude oil, resulting in the closure of 4.3 miles of the coastline.

As the scale of pollution was minor, the oil spill cleanup operations measures seem to have worked here. The Singapore Maritime and Port Authority who took up the daunting task of cleaning up oil spill now claim that the waters at Changi and the East Coast have "returned to normal." For oil spill cleanup, they incorporated several methods. They tried to contain the oil spill by sucking up the spilled oil in the empty containers of MT Bunga Kelana 3. The Pengerang waters were also safeguarded with three boats as a safety measure. The Malaysian and the Singapore water ways were also put under constant watch such that no new boats enter the oil spill area and further spread the pollution. Around 20 vessels and 200 personnel were employed for oil spill cleanup. For oil spill containment, booms are also lined up near the oil tanker. And most of all, they used biodegradable cleaners to break up the oil. The warm temperature of the tropics seems to have worked for dispersal of oil. The Government of Singapore and Malaysia has undoubtedly done a good job using biodegradable dispersants. It's not too late for BP, who still appears to be at loss about dealing with the oil spill cleanup. It would be a wise decision to go in for biodegradable products like Oil Gone Easy S-200.
